Reflexology Foot Chart

There are many different reflexology foot charts  and maps available. Some are more complex and detailed than others. For a self-help home user, the charts below show you how areas on the feet relate to specific organs in the body and how pressure points can be used to increase blood circulation to those regions thus maintaining and improving organs health.

This chart shows when you put both feet together, you can see the resemble of a person sitting with the head at the toes and the hips at the heals, arms and legs are at the sides and all the organs within.

This chart illustrate the spine from the inside of both feet.

Out of all the reflexology treatments, such as hands, nose and ears, foot reflexology is used the most and yields the best result compared to others.  You can give yourself a foot massage at home by using your thumbs, finger joints or a wooden stick to apply pressure to the respective points;  you can also use a golf ball or tennis ball to work on your feet.

Things you need to know:

  1. You don’t need to do thorough feet massage every day.  Twice a week is good enough.
  2. Warm your feet in hot enough water or rub them with your hands before working on them will give better result.
  3. Drink a glass of warm water within 30 minutes after reflexology treatment to flush out the bad stuff and increase blood flow.
  4. Women who are pregnant, having monthly period, people with skin rupture or injury on the feet, people with very high blood pressure or heart condition should not use reflexology treatment.
  5. Do not do foot reflexology when you are too hungry or too full on the stomach.  Generally you should wait 30 minutes after a meal to work on your feet.
